Asus ROG Phone 6D with Dimensity 9000+ SoC allegedly appears on AnTuTu benchmark

Asus recently unveiled its latest gaming phones, the ROG Phone 6 and 6 Pro. Now rumours are rife that the company might be bringing another gaming phone, ROG Phone 6D, which is expected to be powered by the Dimensity 900+ chipset. The smartphone has already been spotted on 3C certification, and now it seems to have gone through the AnTuTu benchmark.
Notable tipster Digital Chat Station shared a screenshot of AnTuTu score of the alleged Asus ROG Phone 6D on Weibo. Asus’ upcoming gaming phone managed to score 1,146,594 points in the benchmark, a little more than the ROG Phone 6 Pro. However, the exact configuration of the smartphone is not known.
The smartphone that appeared on the AnTuTU benchmark has a model number ASUS_AI2203_D, similar to the one’s spotted on the 3C certification. The models that appeared on the 3C were ASUS_AI2203_A and ASUS_AI2203_B.
Asus ROG Phone 6D: Specifications, features (rumoured)
There is not much known about the Asus ROG Phone 6D, but the tipster claims it would come with the recently announced Dimensity 9000+ chipset. It may also feature a 165Hz AMOLED panel from Samsung and a 50MP Sony IMX766 main sensor. Further, it could also boast a 6500mAh battery with 65W charging support.
The ROG Phone 6D would be the first ROG phone to come with a Mediatek chipset. We do not know when the ROG Phone 6D will be launching but since the smartphone is doing frequent rounds on the internet, we can expect it to be announced in the coming months.
