While the first season of the game is yet to be revealed officially, DICE went on to explain the new economic system of the game for the upcoming season, including the new in-game currency called BFC, and the progression system for Battle Pass.

Battlefield 2042 All-Out Warfare Gets Classic Maps from Battlefield 3 and Bad Company2

Before we get into the new season, DICE is the bearer of good news for veteran Battlefield players, as the team will add four classic maps to the Conques 64 mode in All-Out Warfare tomorrow, which is supposed to be called Exodus Conquest from now on.

The classic maps include Caspian Border and Noshahr Canals from Battlefield 3 as well as Arica Harbor and Valparaiso from Battlefield Bad Company 2.

Battlefield 2042 Battle Pass Will Include 100 Tiers of Rewards, 30 of Which Will Be Available for Free

Battlefield 2042 will feature a new Battle Pass every new season, including 100 tiers of rewards. Those who purchase the Premium access to Battle Pass will receive all rewards by progressing through Battle Pass, which is possible by earning Battle Pass Points either by playing games or completing weekly missions. Also, if you own the Gold/Ultimate Edition of Battlefield 2042, you will get Premium access to Season 1’s Battle Pass for free.

According to DICE, those who don’t purchase the Premium access to Battle Pass will get free access to 30 tiers. These tiers will include all the gameplay-related content of the new season such as new weapons, vehicles, or specialists as well as free Battlefield Currency (BFC). So, hopefully, you won’t be charged for getting access to new playable content.

Later on, you can spend your BFC at the in-game store to get new cosmetic items. The in-game store will be available with the launch of Season 1.

Battlefield 2042 is now available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PC.
