Yesterday`s episode of Bigg Boss 16 was indeed the most interesting episode of the season. Bigg Boss plays his card to contestants going on hunger strikes to one of the ugliest spats of the season, viewers experienced everything unexpected in the episode and the hero of the episode was none other than Shiv Thakare. A day after Gautam Vig accepted host Salman Khan`s offer to become the new captain of the `Bigg Boss 16` house by giving up the entire ration, the contestants were seen revolting and going on a hunger strike against Gautam`s decision. He was seen pleading to Bigg Boss to provide rations for at least the contestants who have medical conditions. Bigg Boss then announced that he`ll be sending a limited ration and it will the captain`s call to distribute it amongst the housemates. Gautam sorts out the ration and gives the trays of eggs to Shalin keeping his medical condition in the mind, and this decision of him leads to the tiff in the house.

Meanwhile, Shiv Thakare announced that he with Sajid Khan, Gori and MC Stan are going on a hunger strike till Bigg Boss fires Gautam Vig from the captainship. Shiv Thakare also took a jibe at the other housemates and said how the ones who were hating Gautam a night ago were acting all normal now, giving a license to the wrong decision.

By the end of the day, Shiv and his gang were called to the confession room and asked them to eat food from the special packages arranged by Bigg Boss. He also mentioned that it was a special mission of Bigg Boss to teach a lesson to Gautam Vig. The day ended with Bigg Boss announcing how Shiv and his gang went on a hunger strike and won the ration back.
