It’s a girl for Bipasha Basu and Karan Singh Grover! On Saturday, the B-town couple welcomed their first child. They announced the happy news in a post on Instagram.
Bipasha and Karan took to their social media handles to make a joint announcement. They also revealed the child’s name – Devi. The caption read, “Devi Basu Singh Grover. The physical manifestation of our love and blessings of Ma is here now and she is divine.”
Sonam Kapoor wrote, “Congratulations darling Bipasha. What a lovely name.”
Dia Mirza wrote, “Many many congratulations to you both beautiful couple @bipashabasu @iamksgofficial…. Welcome to the world angel”
Bipasha Basu and Karan Singh Grover had announced their pregnancy back in August this year with a series of wholesome photos. “A new time, a new phase, a new light adds another unique shade to our prism of life. Making us a little more whole than we used to be. We began this life individually and then we met each other and from then we were two. Too much love for only two, seemed a little unfair for us to see…so soon, we who once were two will now become three. A creation manifested by our love, our baby will join us soon and add to our glee,” they wrote. Bipasha often shared glimpses of her maternity journey on social media.
Bipasha and Karan tied the knot in 2016. They first met on the sets of the 2015 film Alone. They welcomed their daughter on November 12, 2022.
