Bleach Thousand-Year Blood War Arc is Getting a Panel at Anime Expo 2022

The first season of Bleach premiered in 2004, and it concluded with 366 episodes on March 27th, 2012. After that, fans were left wondering if the anime would ever return. Well, after almost eight years, Tite Kubo confirmed that the anime is coming back to adapt the manga’s final arc, “Thousand-Year Blood War.”

A few months back, Studio Pierrot released the first trailer of Bleach Thousand-Year Blood War Arc to confirm a Fall 2022 release. The trailer gave us a good look at the upcoming episodes’ animation style. However, the community is now eager to learn more about the final season’s production. Well, we can expect more news around Bleach as the anime is getting a panel at Anime Expo 2022.

The Anime expo will run from July 1st to July 4th, and several popular anime projects will take part in the event. Bleach Thousand-Year Blood War is getting a special stage at the event on July 2nd. The panel will start at 6:30 PM PDT (Pacific Timing), and it will feature some big announcements. According to Anime Expo’s official website, the panel will play “special messages from Japan” while also “unveiling new exclusive content.”

Michelle Ruff (Rukia Kuchiki), Dan Woren (Byakuya Kuchiki), and Wally Wingert (Renji Abarai) will appear at the panel. We can also expect some special guests blessing the stage with some exciting news about the anime adaptation. Also, since the Thousand-Year Blood War arc is only a few months away from its release, we can expect the cast to reveal an exact premiere date for the final season. Apart from that, there’s a chance that we might get an official episode count for the new season.

Besides Bleach Thousand-Year Blood War Arc, anime projects like Chainsaw Man, My Hero Academia, and Bortuo will get stages at Anime Expo 2022. So, it’s definitely an exciting time for the anime community.
