Queen legend Brian May took to Instagram and issued an urgent plea to his legion of followers. The rock star explained that he spotted an acoustic guitar outside of Edgware tube station in London.
The 74-year-old appealed to the public to assist him in helping to locate musical instrument’s rightful owner.
Sharing a series of photos, Brian shared an image of the guitar still in it’s case.
In view of his 2.9 million followers, the legendary guitarist penned: “Did anyone out there lose an acoustic guitar – in a case like this – outside #edgware (sorry – not Edgware Road) tube station?
“What was in case as well as the guitar? We’d like to reunite this with its owner… @mazzmurray #acousticguitar #lostguitar.”

Elsewhere, the Queen guitarist recently revealed that he had been recovering from Covid.
Last month, the musician said he had had a “truly horrible few days”.
It comes after he had tested positive for coronavirus after he attended a birthday lunch with his wife Anita Dobson.
In a video, he said: “We decided we would go to a birthday lunch and we thought, well this is the last social function we would go to – not that we go to many anyway, we’ll chance it, everybody’s going to be triple-jabbed, everybody’s going to be with one of these things [lateral flow test] which says you’ll be negative on the morning.”
Brian said he did not wear a mask at the party as he thought it was in a bubble and therefore safe.
