Call of Duty Delays Season 2 of Modern Warfare II and Warzone 2.0 Until February 15; All You Need to Know

Call of Duty developers Activision has confirmed that the studio will be delaying the launch of Season 2 for Modern Warfare II and Warzone 2.0.

Season 2 was originally meant to arrive on February 1. However, Activision has announced through a Twitter post that it intends to launch the next major content update on February 15. This means that players will have to wait an extra two weeks to try out some of the new stuff that the developers have been planning.

What to expect from Season 2 of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II and Warzone 2.0?

On the Warzone side of things, Activision has confirmed the return of Resurgence, the fast-paced game mode from the original title that had become a fan-favourite. Along with that, developers Infinity Ward has also mentioned changes to “gulag, looting and loadouts” as well. Finally, a smaller map will also make its way to Warzone 2.0 for players to try out.

When it comes to Modern Warfare II, the long-awaited Ranked Play will finally arrive, much to the happiness of competitive COD players. Plus, fans should also expect to see the addition of new multiplayer maps, modes, and weapons and more.
