Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Leak Reveals Images of Neymar and Pogba; One Multiplayer Map is Missing At Launch and More

Recently, we were informed about the changes Activision brought to Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 with the launch update, which included enhancements to enemy visibility and in-game audio. Today, we have received even more exciting news, one which will have all the football fans jumping in joy. According to a new leak, it seems two of the top personalities in football will be joining the game in the near future.

Brazilian star Neymar Jr. and World Cup winner Pogba are the two superstars that will be gracing us with an appearance in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 along with a collection of other stars. It is speculated that this collaboration is taking place in order to celebrate the upcoming FIFA World Cup. This information comes from a ResetEra thread, so players should consume it with a grain of salt, although it looks pretty authentic. Check out how Neymar and Pogba fully suited up in their operator costumes below:

In other news, it has been noticed that not all the multiplayer maps that were seen in the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 beta test program have made it over to the launch. Out of the 11 maps that were available during the beta weekends, only 10 of them have made it to the actual game. Museum is the map that has disappeared, and the reason for this has been speculated to be the disinterest shown towards this map by the players.

Additionally, one of the fan-favorite killstreaks from the franchise has also made it to Modern Warfare 2 and that is none other than the Nuke. This time around it will be called Mass Guided Bombs or MGB for short. All the players need to do is get a 30 killstreak and they will receive a prompt to activate the MGB. Once activated, the players will be able to end the game within 10 seconds, check out how it looks in action below:

Moreover, in the launch update, movements like slide, ledge hang, and dive have been refined, and some movement exploits have been addressed. Movement exploits that players have been using included the bunny hopping. But since the update, this issue has been taken care off. Overall, players feel that the movement in the full game is much better when compared to the beta.

Also, Infinity Ward just announced that Raids will be arriving in Call of Duty later this year. They have also stated that following the events of the Modern Warfare 2 campaign, each seasonal phase will expand on their ongoing story. These phases will see old friends and new enemies taking care of all the loose ends. That’s all we know for now, more information will be shared shortly.

Talking about Modern Warfare 2, have any of you visited the Modern Warfare 2 subreddit? If not then you are in for a treat, as one of the users in u/rirukoh has posted an image of a Burger King restaurant in Caguas, Puerto Rico. This Burger King has gone one step ahead to decorate the entire outlet with Modern Warfare 2 aesthetics to celebrate the launch of the game, and in my opinion it looks sick. Check out the image below:

Lastly, Activision has finally informed the players about all the PlayStation benefits for Modern Warfare 2. Check them out below:
