Countdown legend Carol Vorderman, 61, took to Instagram yesterday to blast one of her critics. The star was left rolling her eyes at “some people” who felt it necessary to make negative remarks about her hair.
Carol posted some bold text in front of a brightly coloured background detailing the incident to her 208,000 followers.
She wrote: “MONDAY. Someone just sent me a comment, ‘Carol, why don’t you brush your hair for once?’
“How outrageous… I brushed it last Friday…” Carol quipped.
“Some people,” she finished with rolling eyes and laughing emojis.
Kevin Lodge added: “Hahaha that’s funny I love the fact that you don’t brush your hair and that you post pics that are real.
“Too many celebs only post pics when their hair is brushed, with makeup on/dressed up etc.”
Ella Black wrote: “Don’t they know what it’s like living by the coast?
“Who has a decent hairstyle when it’s blowing a hoolie,” she added with a laughing emoji.
Carol recently delighted her fans with a particularly windswept, tousled hairstyle, which she paired with a tight black zip-up top with long sleeves, a thick black belt, and some figure-hugging trousers to match.
She wrote next to the picture: “Morning lovelies… going for a ‘what the hell just happened there’ look for the hair today. #unruly… I think I’ve succeeded!!! Lols.” (sic)
Revealing her pre-weekend plans, she continued: “Holy hell it’s Friday so soon already.
“Have a good one. Off for a top-up with my mates today xx.”
In her stories, Carol revealed that she was attending a magazine photoshoot.
The dishevelled, voluminous hairdo was giving off glam 1980s vibes, causing fans to flood the comments.
