Chelsea ‘hoping to snatch’ Man Utd target Malo Gusto as wild spending set to continue | Football | Sport
Graham Potter’s side have already welcomed Mykhaylo Mudryk, Benoit Badiashile, Andrey Santos, David Datro Fofana and Joao Felix on loan to mark an incredible window of new arrivals.
Their business is not looking likely of halting any time soon either, with PSV Eindhoven winger Noni Madueke undergoing a medical ahead of a £30m switch to Stamford Bridge. And he could soon be joined by Gusto if the Blues decide to press ahead of the talented full-back.
Potter also has plans to sign a central midfielder before the window shuts on February 1, with Enzo Fernandez, Moises Caicedo and Declan Rice all linked with the west London outfit.
Any of those deals would take Todd Boehly’s spending to beyond £500m since the American gained control of the club in May 2022, highlighting Chelsea’s ambition to build for the future.
