CoD: Modern Warfare 2 Leak Suggests Three Popular Characters Could Arrive In Season 3

Season 2 Reloaded went live in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 on March 15, and now data miners are already digging through the game files for hints of what’s to come in future updates. Some leakers are suggesting a few highly-demanded characters will finally be introduced as playable operators for Season 3 or beyond.

A Call of Duty leaker known as Task Force Leakers 141 has tweeted claims that placeholders for three operators were added with the Season 2 Reloaded update, with these operators being Alejandro Vargas, Valeria Garza, and Alex Keller. The data mining apparently uncovered voice lines and loading screen artwork for all three operators.

While brand-new characters, Alejandro and Valeria’s memorable performances in Modern Warfare 2’s campaign made them both quick fan-favorites, so it was likely only a matter of time before the highly requested characters arrived as playable operator skins.

Spoiler: Alex Keller, who was one of the main protagonists of Modern Warfare 2019, has been reintroduced in Modern Warfare 2’s post-launch narrative with Season 2’s Raid episode, so it would be fitting to see him arrive as an operator skin as well.

It’s uncertain if or when these operators could show up, as all leaks must be taken with a grain of salt. If true, these skins could arrive in Season 3 or a later update.

So far, Activision has officially announced that a TMNT Shredder operator bundle will arrive for Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 on March 21. Shredder’s bundle comes with three weapon blueprints based on the new weapons from the Season 2’s battle pass. Other cosmetic items include a weapon vinyl, a vehicle skin, and a weapon charm.
