Crunchyroll Announces Hindi and Indian English Dubs and Subs for Demon Slayer, Darling in the Franxx, Fire Force, and More
Crunchyroll has announced its content and programming plans in India as it has released anime series in Hindi and even Indian English subs and dubs.
Titles such as Demon Slayer Kimetsu no Yaiba Mugen Train and Demon Slayer Kimetsu no Yaiba Entertainment District Arc, Darling in the Franxx, and Fire Force Season 1 are dubbed in Hindi and Indian English both. Radiant Season 1 will get a Hindi dub as Ranking of Kings will continue releasing more dubbed episodes as well.
Akebi’s Sailor Uniform, Tokyo 24th Ward, Trapped in a Dating Sim, and Miss Kuroitsu are confirmed to get Hindi or Indian English dubs in the next three months.
Titles from October available in English subtitles include All Saints Street, Raven of the Inner Palace, Bocchi: The Rock, Do It Yourself!, Legend of Mana, Mobile Suit Gundam: WFM, and Berserk.
Starting November, the streaming service said it would begin making additional English sub and dub anime available in India on the first and third Wednesday of each month.
“Crunchyroll will continue to increase our offerings of content and events to fans as our subscription base grows and access to anime explodes,” Brady McCollum, chief operating officer at Crunchyroll, said. “We’re on this anime journey with our fans in India – on screen, in person or on the ground!”
Crunchyroll will also attend Comic Con India in Bangalore (November 19-20), Delhi (December 0-11), and Mumbai (February 11-12).
The Crunchyroll Premium membership in India costs Rs. 79 per month for its Fan subscription tier and Rs. 99 per month for its Mega Fan tier subscription. Fan membership offers ad-free viewing and access to Crunchyroll’s library of anime dubs alongside access to Crunchyroll manga and simulcast series day and date with premiere in Japan. The Crunchyroll Mega Fan membership offers all the benefits of Crunchyroll Fan, alongside access to anime on the go with offline viewing and the ability to stream Crunchyroll concurrently across four different streams.
