According to the official PlayStation database, the release date for the PS5 version of Crusader Kings III is right around the corner.
The popular strategy RPG by Paradox Interactive was initially released for PC back in September of 2020, before a next-gen version was announced in August of 2021. At the time of the announcement an exact release date for the Xbox Series X|S and PS5 versions of Crusader Kings III wasn’t revealed.
Now it seems that almost five months later, a release date for Crusader Kings III on next-gen consoles has finally arrived, and it’s sooner than you’d think.

PlayStation Database Reveals Crusader Kings III Release Date
The release date comes courtesy of Twitter user PlayStation Game Size, who often leaks the release dates for new games and updates via the PlayStation database.
We do recommend taking the news with a grain of salt until it’s made official by Paradox Interactive, but it looks like the release date for Crusader Kings III on PS5 is Tuesday, February 8th, 2022. This means we’re only four weeks away from playing Crusader Kings III on consoles!
Although the leaked release date is specific to the PS5 version of the game, it’s highly likely that the Xbox Series X|S version will also be released on the same date. But there is also the possibility that this is simply a placeholder for the database, hence why we recommend taking the news with a pinch of salt.
This date would also coincide with the release of the next expansion DLC, ‘Royal Court’, which is also set to launch on February 8th. The upcoming expansion aims to add even more content to the ever-expanding strategy game, for more details on the next Crusader Kings III DLC, check out the games official website.
