A recent Fall Guys leak has hit the internet, showcasing a new look at the upcoming Sonic the Hedgehog map. The level, created in collaboration with Sega, will incorporate exciting new content for players to discover. While developers have teased this Sonic-themed summer event for a bit, data miners have dug up more information about the upcoming skins and brand-new stage.
While the game has already released a Sonic skin for players to dash around in, data miner @FGPancake uncovered additional costumes for other Sonic favorites. However, most interestingly, FGPancake has also released gameplay footage that reveals what the Sonic stage will look like.
Leaker Shows Off Fall Guys’ Sonic Map With First Look At Gameplay
Just about a week ago, FGPancake dug up a number of new Sonic-themed costumes for the game. Included on the list of soon-to-be-available skins are the friendly Tails, the devious Eggman, and the powerful Super Sonic. Mediatonic has yet to announce a concrete release date for these new cosmetics, but it’s safe to assume they’ll likely be a part of a Fall Guys summer event.
Following the leak of the skins comes another, bigger leak: the new Sonic stage. The level, titled “Bean Hill Zone,” is an obvious parody of the beloved Green Hill Zone Sonic level. The arena is one large vibrant green square, complete with red springs, palm trees, and the telltale gold rings.
As seen in FGPancake’s video, players will be able to bounce and speed across the map, much like Sonic himself. There are even looping tunnel paths that shoot players back out onto the stage, mimicking the loops in the original Green Hill Zone.
It’s important to remember though, that while FGPancake has proven to be reliable in the past, players should always regard leaks with a bit of skepticism. Any news that isn’t from the studio’s social media pages or homepage is, of course, unofficial. FGPancake hasn’t revealed exactly how they obtained this information, but it was likely through data-mining.
