Deadly Premonition 2 PC Release Date Slated for 2021

Indie publisher Thunderful Group has revealed in its annual report that Deadly Premonition 2: A Blessing in Disguise will be making its way to PC in 2021. Caught by Gematsu, the annual report was originally posted on ResetEra by user –R.

Unfortunately, since there hasn’t yet been any real announcement about Deadly Premonition 2’s PC release, there isn’t much in the way of details regarding what we can expect to see in the port.

Deadly Premonition 2: A Blessing in Disguise was originally released on the Nintendo Switch back in 2020. It was plagued with poor performance, and was the center of a controversy surrounding its depiction of a transgendered character.

While expecting Deadly Premonition 2’s performance problems from the Switch to be fixed in the PC release would be a reasonable expectation, considering the state of the original Deadly Premonition on PC, we wouldn’t be surprised if optimisations don’t make their way in.

Deadly Premonition 2 features an open-ended adventure with sandbox exploration. Players can explore the setting either on foot, or by using a skateboard. It features FBI Special Agent York once again, as he tries to figure out the mysteries surrounding Bostom and the fictional town of Le Carré, Louisiana.
