Derek Chisora accuses Tyson Fury of including ‘gag’ clause in contract ahead of trilogy | Boxing | Sport
Derek Chisora claims a ‘gagging order’ was put on him ahead of the launch press conference with Tyson Fury by The Gypsy King’s team.
Speaking at Thursday’s presser, he said: “I’m buzzing. It’s a great fight, this will be a good fight. I can’t really say much, because they put a gag on me in the contract.”
The pair are set to square off on December 3 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for a third time. In their last two outings, back in 2011 and 2014, Fury won on both occasions in convincing fashion. The first time on points and then via tenth-round retirement in the next contest three years later.
Both men used to be very good friends, however, their relationship soured after Chisora predicted that Dillian Whyte would knock out Fury ahead of their April showdown at Wembley Stadium. Taking exception to the comments, Fury vowed to ‘punch’ Chisora in the face the next time he saw him. But when they came face to face to announce their fight there was a lot of respect shown between the Brits.
Chisora said: “I’m a black belt in crazy! The mindset is unbelievable right now, it’s crazy. It’s gonna be toe to toe. I have to knock him out, I’m gonna drop him, yeah.
“I’ll beat him. I’m gonna knock him out, I’m gonna stop him, 100 per cent.”
