Destiny 2 Season 17 to Feature Long-Awaited Solar Subclass Rework

Destiny 2 started 2022 with a bang as it finally released the much-awaited expansion in The Witch Queen, which was received well by both critics and fans.

Season 16 of the popular Bungie title has been met with rave reviews as well, with players claiming it to have one of the more better seasonal content for them to enjoy. Along with a slew of new weapons and locations for the community to experience, the developers also introduced a major change in the Void 3.0 update.

Void 3.0 came as part of Bungie’s attempts to rework the entire Light subclass. The developers revealed their intentions last year, when they announced that all Light subclasses will be revamped to have a system similar to that of Stasis, which includes new Aspects and Fragments. Void was the first to receive the big change, and Bungie has already mentioned that each season will bring about tweaks to a particular Light subclass.

Following the success of Void 3.0 among fans of Destiny 2, players are now wondering what the next subclass to receive the revamp will be, and according to new rumors, it seems like it will be Solar after all.

Solar 3.0 is reportedly arriving as part of Season 17 in Destiny 2, which will arrive on May 24. The upcoming season will have some exciting new content for players to try, including weekly rotating raids, new PvP map, and more.

With the success that Void 3.0 has had in the game’s sandbox, it’s very likely that the developers will again smash it out of the park with Solar 3.0 and the community can’t wait to hear what the developers at Bungie have in store for them.
