Dexys have just announced the release of their fifth album, The Feminine Divine, and to coincide with its release, the legendary ’80s band are hitting the road across the UK this Autumn. This is the band’s newest record full of original material, once again produced by legendary engineer Pete Schwier.

The album has been described as a new insight and perspective on “new-found positivity”. It has also been declared a “personal, if not strictly autobiographical record portraying a man whose views have evolved over time”.

Tickets for Dexys’ tour are due to come out by the end of the week, but they’re certainly going to be in high demand, so fans are advised to act fast if they want to get involved.

Before that, there are a small number of presale events going on, so some lucky fans will be able to grab tickets before anyone else. Here’s all the information you need to get involved.

When do Dexys presale tickets go on sale?

There are two different presale events going on for Dexys’ live tour.

The first presale event is on now – but is only available to select customers. These tickets are being provided by O2 Priority on select venues around the country, including Newcastle’s O2 City Hall. This presale event is only available to customers of the O2 mobile phone network, so if you can gain access to O2 Priority, you can get into Dexys’ party now.

The second presale event kicks off tomorrow, Thursday, April 13, 2023, at 10am. These tickets are part of a venue presale only and will be released for a select few venues around the country. At the moment, the only venue involved in this presale event is the York Barbican. If any other venues get involved in this presale event, this article will be updated accordingly.

If fans miss their chance to get presale tickets, fear not! The general onsale ticket release will follow just a day later…

When do Dexys tickets come out?

Tickets for Dexys’ UK tour come out on Friday, April 14, 2023, at 10am.

These tickets will be available here at Ticketmaster, as well as at See Tickets here. These tickets will be available for gigs and venues around the country – but this is their FINAL chance to grab tickets to see Dexys. As a result, fans of the band will need to play smart if they want to get their tickets.

It is important to get into the digital queue just before the tickets are released to ensure you don’t get lumped at the back of the group. Once you’re in the digital queue for your tickets, you do not refresh or move away from the web page in any way – and if you do, you may lose your spot, so don’t move away from the page under any circumstances.

Once you have secured your tickets, it might be wise to build a swift checkout experience. To do this, it is important to sign into your account at your chosen ticket-selling website. Once logged in, uploading your credit or debit card would create a much faster checkout experience.
