Dia Mirza shared pictures with her son Avyaan Azaad Rekhi on Instagram. The mother-son duo can be seen soaking greenery from the garden.
In one picture, Dia can be seen kissing Ayaan on the forehead while in the other one, she pointed towards the plants as Avyaan looked at them. She captioned the first picture as, “Just. Nothing Else. This is everything.” Divya was dressed in a maxi dress and Avyaan was in a romper.
Dia and Vaibhav Rekhi tied the knot on February 15 last year. They were blessed with a baby boy in May last year and he was named Avyaan Azaad Rekhi by the couple. He was born via an emergency caesarean section and was kept in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit for a few weeks as he was born prematurely. Dia had undergone a sudden appendectomy during her pregnancy. A subsequent severe bacterial infection caused her delivery before time.
Sharing the news of Avyaan’s birth, Dia wrote, “As we watch this tiny being, this Zen master in awe and wonder, we learn from him, in all humility, the true meaning of trusting the universe and of parenthood. And to not be afraid, and so we humbly take the lead from his resilience and courage. We do not have enough words to thank all those who continue to help us live this story of hope and faith and create a safe, healing, nurturing space for Avyaan and I.”
