Dolphins vs Canberra Raiders, results, kick-off time, Roosters vs Warriors, Melbourne Storm vs Canterbury Bulldogs, Scott Drinkwater faces three-week ban for Corey Oates hit
It’s now Zachary Gates jumping on to cover some NRL action this evening.
The Raiders have opened the scoring in their clash with the Dolphins in Brisbane, showing and going on the right edge and making light work of Sean O’Sullivan and Euan Aitken.
Ricky Stuart’s men lead 4-0 in the 14th minute.
The simple try followed a brutal hit by Felise Kaufusi on Ryan Sutton.
The former Storm stalwart thumped Sutton in the ribs, forced the ball loose and left the Canberra second-rower flat on his back for several minutes.
“What a shot!” said Fox League’s Shane Flanagan.
“What an inspiration for his football team.
“He’s put this whole Canberra Raiders side on warning: don’t travel sideways, don’t turn your head because I’m coming to get ya.”
Kaufusi’s crunching hit on Sutton followed a thumping shot on Roosters back-rower Egan Butcher in the Dolphins’ inaugural NRL match.
