Doodle for Google 2019 Competition kicks off with new “When I grow up, I Hope…..” Theme

Like every year, Google has now officially announced the Doodle for Google 2019 Competition which is hosted officially by Google.

Students from Kindergarten through 12th Grade in the US can participate in this competition. This competition encourages students to use their own thinking and creativity to design Google’s Logo. This time the logo should be personalized by the theme “When I grow up, I hope…”

Here in this competition, students can use any material to draw the Google Logo starting from Crayons, Clay and even they can use foods. All is to draw Logo which incorporates Google Letters.

Google also announced the winner of Doodle for Google 2018 Contest. The first winner is Sara Gomez-Lane a first-grader from Fall-Church, Virginia. Her Doodle has been transformed by Google in animation and has been published by Google.

This announcement was made by Kermit the Frog who is one of the Judges of this Contest on The Tonight Show with his fellow host Jimmy Fallon, who is also another Judge of this Contest. And the last one from the Judge panel who is gonna join them is Mandy Manning, former National Teacher of the Year 2018.

This contest will run through March 18, 2019. One winner will be chosen from every 50 states and also one National finalist will be chosen. Out of all the finalist, one national winner will be chosen. The judging criteria will be based on the artistic skills used by Student, his creativity and most importantly the design made by him reflect the given theme or not.

The winner will be awarded with $30,000 college scholarship and the school associated with the winner will be given $50,000 technology package. Like Sarah’s Doodle, the winning Doodle of 2019 will be featured on Google Homepage for a day.
