Elden Ring Fans Are Playing So Much They’re Finding In-Game Locations IRL

Elden Ring has definitely been the greatest hit in the gaming industry in 2022 so far, and fans are having so much fun in the game’s rich world that they have managed to discover some items and locations of Lands Between in the real world!

When it comes to world-building and environment design, games are divided into two major categories: we have games with realistic worlds, and then we have games with fantasy or even beyond imagination worlds.

In Elden Ring‘s case, it is a fantasy world that we don’t expect to see many aspects of it in our real life, but we can’t deny that all parts of this game’s universe have been inspired by our own real world on Earth.

Fans Have Discovered Similar Elden Ring Items and Locations in Real Life!

Some of the Elden Ring fans have recently posted a number of images on Reddit that will soon remind you of an iconic location or item in Elden Ring‘s The Lands Between.

Let’s start things off with Evergaol. Those round concrete circles invite you to a fight whenever you activate them. A Reddit user from Portland has posted one of those snake-like stones that you usually see around an Evergaol. On the other hand, a Swedish gamer has taken a picture of a location in Uppsala that looks very much like an Evergaol circle!

Now, if witnessing an Evergaol doesn’t surprise you, then you would probably be excited to see a real-world version of a Teardrop Scarab. Now, don’t get too excited as it’s not a living one and it doesn’t hold any Flask charges or Ashes of War, however, this is a statue that looks exactly like a Teardrop Scarab as if it’s been built based on Elden Ring!

Next up, we have one of those yellow-ish trees that you usually find a Golden Seed next to it in the Lands Between. Unfortunately, the real-world version of the tree doesn’t have a Golden Seed nearby, or maybe it used to have but someone has picked it up earlier!

This one is really interesting as the player discovered it in their very own garden. Before Elden Ring, this rock wouldn’t mean anything to us, but now, we know how valuable it is. A Smithing Stone! Unfortunately, we don’t know which tier it belongs to, but a local Blacksmith could help you with that!

Last but not least, we have these turtles in a corner, and if you have played Elden Ring enough, you know what else you can find nearby. So, be careful!

Elden Ring is now available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PC.
