Elden Ring Colosseum DLC
Players will be able to explore arenas in all the three new Colosseums (Limgrave, Caelid and Leyndell) added in the DLC. These Colosseums will also have rooms for the players to interact with others and access multiplayer modes through Marika’s effigy. Players will also be able to initiate combat via the effigy of Marika at Roundtable Hold. Here is everything we know about each of the different Colosseums:
Limgrave Colosseum
United Combat: Players will be split into two opposing teams in this game mode and their objective is to collect points. The team with the most points at the end of the timer emerges victorious. There is no permadeath in this game mode and players will be able to respawn an unlimited number of times.
Combat Ordeal: This is an individual game mode, where players can fight it out against each other until the one with highest elimination points remains standing. In this mode also players will be able respawn after dying.
Leyndell Colosseum (Royal Colosseum)
Duel: This is a straight-forward game mode, where two opposing players get to battle 1v1 against each other. There are no chances or respawns in this game mode, once the opponent is defeated, the player will get the spoils of the victory.
Caelid Colosseum
This one is a mixture of all the new game modes, Duel, United Combat, Combat Ordeal, but this time it will be including spirit ashes. Players will be able to choose their preferred Spirit Ash at the start of the match, but it will disappear as soon as they die. Although, they will have the option to summon the Spirit Ash or a completely different one later. The max number of players that can play United Combat and Combat Ordeal is 6 players. Each of them can summon their own Spirit Ash.
