“For example, those who are working from home, what’s the best electric heater for their one room that needs to be heated during the day, or how can a particular individual and household save energy themselves. The solution will likely be different depending on that individual.”
According to Ms Allen, energy suppliers to step up to the plate and use the information they have received from customers to administer targeted support of their own, instead of relying solely on the Government.
She added: “Energy providers need to listen, understand and act based on that individual. Develop a relationship where they’re giving the customer more than just the energy. The problem is too many don’t have smart enough systems in place to offer personalised support fast enough.
