Manchester United will be eager to find out their Europa League opponents as the competition approaches the business end with the quarter-final draw, with former boss Jose Mourinho amongst the potential match-ups in the last eight. Erik ten Hag’s side are the only remaining Premier League side in the competition and the Premier League giants be the team others want to avoid in the last-eight draw.

The Red Devils cruised past Betis 5-1 on aggregate to advance to the next round, but Arsenal were dumped out of the competition following their penalty shootout defeat to Sporting Lisbon. United could be matched up against Mourinho’s Roma, who impressively found a way past a much-fancied Real Sociedad side.

There could also be an Old Trafford return for Paul Pogba, who joined Juventus in the summer on a free transfer, after the Italian giants beat Bundesliga outfit Freiburg.

With four ties and eight teams to be drawn at UEFA’s base in Nyon, United will be hoping to be given an uncomplicated draw as they look to edge closer to their second piece of silverware this season on the road to the final in Budapest.
