The presenter claimed that they expect everyone to “fall in line” as he addressed pig farmers’ struggles.
He explained that staff shortages caused by Covid and Brexit mean farmers are unable to keep up with demand.
“Others have explained that, thanks to a dramatic drop in grants and subsidies, farmers are in dire straits at the moment and the last thing they need is a kick in the teeth from their local council,” he detailed in his column.
“Pig farmers are especially upset because they are struggling more than most.”
He added: “Instead, like Stalin, they demand everyone simply falls into line with their way of thinking.
“And these people have absolutely no clue about farming.”
