F1 analyst Tom Coronel has claimed Sergio Perez should not be replaced by AlphaTauri star Yuki Tsunoda.
It comes after Franz Tost suggested the Japanese star could be ready for a Red Bull promotion in 2025.
But, Coronel insisted he would rather see Alex Albon be promoted back to the top after his time with Williams.
He told the RacingNews365 podcast: “No, no, no, you can’t. You are talking about a top team. Then I would rather take an Alex Albon than a Yuki.
“Yuki has of course been very important, also for the Honda deal, but I don’t see him just going to Red Bull in the future. He will need to become a little smarter, more handy and better.”
