The musician reportedly suffered a heart attack after his concert in Kolkata, shortly after which he passed away. KK will always have a special place in the hearts of anyone who has heard his beloved songs. One of his most popular collaborations was with Emraan Hashmi. The actor has featured in many hit songs crooned by the singer including Zara Sa, Beetein Lamhe and Dil Ibaadat. These songs are etched into the memories of many.

As Emraan Hashmi mourns the loss of KK, he has penned a heartfelt note for the singer that reads, “A voice and talent like no other.. They don’t make them like him anymore. Working on the songs he sang was always that much more special. You will always be in our hearts KK and live eternally through your songs. RIP Legend KK #ripkk”

The actor’s tribute has left netizens in tears as the Emraan Hashmi and KK have been a fan favourite duo. Fans are now recalling their favourite songs and it serves as a testimony to the magic they created together. A Twitter user wrote, “It’s so shocking that you have gone too soon #kk you will be forever in our hearts, #EmraanHashmi x kk duo was amazing and thanks for providing us such amazing songs, rest in peace legend.”

In an interview with ETimes, Emraan opened up about KK’s passing. He said, “I woke up to this heartbreaking news today. I had such an amazing time collaborating with KK on all our songs. They will always hold a special place in my heart and so will he. KK has gone too soon. It is the end of an era.”
