Players will receive access to several DLCs such as Stranger Things, Rambo and Danny Trejo, expanding the game’s content massively. Far Cry 6 offers an estimated 60 hours of gameplay time with all aspects of the game. The length can also be shortened or broadened according to your play style. However, it will highly likely be at least 30 hours which is enough to enjoy your weekend to the fullest.

As for the game itself, Far Cry 6 is a first-person shooter game that blends action and adventure with cutting-edge graphics. Players will assume the role of a local Yaran named Dani Rojas to prevail over guerillas dragging the county into civil War. The main aim of the protagonist is to save his people from an oppressive dictatorial regime no matter what it takes. Alongside a wide array of weapons, numerous vehicles and backpacks make the combat more entertaining. Additionally, players can follow up the story with their friends, as Far Cry 6 has a co-op mode with support for up to two players.

This is not the first time Far Cry 6 will be free-to-play for a limited time since its launch in September 2021. The game had another free weekend running from March 24th to 27th, giving players a chance to try it out without having bought it. Lastly, Ubisoft stated that players can purchase Far Cry 6 with a 60% discount if they want to see the game permanently in their library.
