Ferne McCann, 32, stunned fans earlier this year as she announced she was engaged to boyfriend Lorri Haines after a whirlwind romance. In an exclusive interview with Express.co.uk, The Only Way Is Essex star admitted that she “didn’t expect” Lorri to get down on one knee during a recent trip to France.
While the couple had only been together for a few months at the time of the proposal, Ferne did not hesitate to say yes to her beau.
When asked whether she knew what was coming, Ferne teased: “Well I can’t say too much on that because you’ll have to watch my show.
“But no, I didn’t expect it. I’m still on cloud nine from it all and feeling immensely grateful.”
The reality TV star also revealed that there are no set plans yet, but she will discuss her ideas with her four-year-old daughter Sunday, who will “get excited” closer to her wedding day.
But even when it comes to work and filming Ferne’s show, Sunday is always involved in her mum’s life.
Reflecting upon the future, Ferne revealed how their new project with Fridays will be a memory to cherish when Sunday grows up.
Ferne explained: “It’s funny because really we have been lucky enough to do a lot of things together including my show, which is essentially my life with Sunday.
“What’s interesting about this project is that Sunday is that bit older and this is something she’ll remember.
“Fridays was always the place we’d go to as a treat when I was young and I have some of the most amazing memories from being there with friends and family – so having Sunday involved with me for Fridays carries that on to the next generation.
“I’m sure there’ll come a day and she won’t want to do things with me, which is all part of growing up so I’ll make the most of every opportunity while I can.”
Ferne, who was previously in a relationship with businessman Arthur Collins, gave birth to Sunday on November 2nd in 2017.
