FIFA 23 will include a World Cup mode, as the real-world FIFA World Cup 2022 approaches and players wish to learn more about it.
This information comes from Insider Gaming, and according to their sources, the FIFA 23 World Cup mode is all set to arrive on November 9, 2022 and will continue until January 3, 2022. Players will also be able to earn some brand-new legendary players for their team by participating in this game mode.
As the report goes, the first event that will arrive in the game mode has been dubbed as ‘World Cup Path to Glory’. It will kickoff on November 11, 2022 and will stay until November 23, 2022. Through the event, players will have a chance to get some players from the two FUT Heroes squad that will be released in this two week time span.
The second event will kickoff on November 25, 2022 which has been dubbed as ‘Road to World Cup’. This event will mostly include players whose ratings will increase according to how their team performs during the stages of the competition. The new event will also introduce a whopping set of 35 icons that players will be able to procure through packs, objectives and squad building challenges.
The next event, called ‘World Cup Stories’, will kick off on December 2, 2022, and will go on till December 9, 2022. Unfortunately, concrete details about the event haven’t been provided yet. The report also states that there will be several other events that will take place during the month of December, with more details to be revealed soon.
