Square Enix Priced the Final Fantasy VI Terra Figure at Over $11,000
Yes, you read it right! Your only chance to have this incredibly detailed action figure from Final Fantasy VI is to pay around $11.5K to Square Enix, and you really need to be fast as only 600 pieces will be available worldwide.
The unexpected pricing of Square Enix for this figure has already driven off some veteran fans of the series from even thinking about the purchase of this beautiful piece of art. A significant number of Final Fantasy fans commented on the related Twitter post of the Terra figure, indicating that they would not be able to pay such a price for an action figure.
That being said, the action figure will probably be sold out soon, and some of them might actually end up in the hands of scalpers, who probably plan to re-sell the figure at even a higher price.
The Final Fantasy VI Terra figure will be released on July 28, 2023. According to Square Enix, 150 pieces will be dedicated to Japan.
