Forspoken has just got a new gameplay trailer released, but it is very short to say the least. Players have received a 7-second video, that shows Frey in a fast paced, fiery boss battle with what seems like a bloodthirsty reptile. She builds a flame boundary around the reptile and starts cutting it down with a flame sword. That’s about all that the gameplay video showcases, fortunately PlayStation has also shared hands-on impressions for the title.

PlayStation got to check out a full demo for the title which involved a tutorial, that finally lead to the boss battle with the alligator that we can see in the video above. The demo starts with a tutorial for the players, that explains the traversal options along with combat features in the game. PlayStation was quick to recognise that these two go hand-in-hand thanks to the fast-paced combat style developed by Luminous.

They also speak about the sprawling open world which consists of different types of geographic locations that players would love to explore. The game only has a brief tutorial at the start, post that the players are explore the entire land if they wish too. They also learned that moves have to be made quick and the players will have to keep switching from casting attack and support based spells, according to what the situation entails.

In the open world, the players will also find different types of minions, which can be aerial or grounded. The RPG system has also been appreciated, and Frey and the Cuffs relation has been talked about. They also felt that the parkour system of the game is extremely satisfying and combining it with combat can be a joyful experience. There is yet a lot to learn about the game, and the players will have to be patient and wait for the game to release on January 24, 2023 to know everything there is to know.
