The Galaxy Z Fold 4 has been spotted on the Geekbench website with a model number SM-F936U. However, this particular model might be destined for the US and the benchmark results have revealed some details about the device’s performance. The latest Snapdragon chipset was able to post a single-core score of 1351 and a multi-core score of 3808. Meanwhile, it is important to note device’s real-world performance may differ from the Geekbench results.
The Geekbench listing also reveals that this will have at least 12GB of RAM, which was also the same as last year’s Galaxy Z Fold 3. Qualcomm claims that this chipset can deliver a 10% increase in CPU performance and a 10% boost to GPU clock. The chip maker also claims its latest chip will also enhance the power efficiency by up to 30% for both CPU and GPU. This might help the Galaxy Z Fold 4 to offer improved battery life even with a rumoured smaller battery unit.
Earlier reports have suggested that Samsung might offer a 1TB storage variant for the Galaxy Z Fold 4 device, which will be the highest amount of internal storage to be offered on a foldable smartphone. More information on the upcoming devices will be available as the launch date approaches.
