The second half of Genshin Impact’s v2.4 update is currently live, confirming the launch for the 2.5 update’s release, as well as the date for the 2.5 Livestream. Based on the “Time Remaining” on their banners, Ganyu and Zhongli’s banners will end on 16th February, 2022. Genshin Impact will then be offline for server maintenance, which lasts between four to six hours.
The special program for Genshin Impact’s new version will premiere on the official Twitch channel on 02/04/2022 at 07:00 AM (UTC-5), followed by an online concert, bringing you a joyous time with beautiful melodies!

The live stream, also known as a special program, is slotted to air on the official Genshin Impact Twitch channel this Friday. A recording of the event will also be released four hours later on the same day on their official YouTube channel. A new character, reruns of much-loved 5 and 4-stars, new weapons and events are to be revealed during this program, as well as 3 special Redemption codes that are only live for 24-hours after the premiere of the Livestream.
Genshin Impact fans have long-awaited the arrival of the new playable character, Yae Miko, a kitsune and Guuji of the Grand Narukami Shrine, who is expected to be added to Genshin Impact in the 2.5 update. Like the current v2.4 update, 2.5 will have two halves with different character Banners for each half. The second half of v2.5 is speculated to feature a double banner with reruns for Raiden Shogun and Sangonomiya Kokomi, both of whom are rumored to be heavily involved in the story for v2.5. Yae Miko is an Electro Catalyst character who will be playable from the start of the Genshin Impact 2.5 update.
There are also several unreleased events, new enemies and a new Spiral Abyss line-up we expect to see during this livestream.
