The Lantern Festival in Liyue was a massive success with players: Travelers were treated with beautiful story quests, lots of rewards, new characters and cameos of our long-time faves from Liyue. However, v2.4 is far from over. We are just two weeks away from the launch of v2.5 and Mihoyo still has lots of surprises left for us.
Eight Locales Over Mountains and Seas Event
On 4th Febuary, a new event will begin, featuring the Tanuki from Chinju Forest, Inazuma. The Bake Danuki will visit Mondstadt and Liyue for the first time. This event is slated to be available from 4/2/22 till 14/2/22. In order, to access this event, players need to complete the sub-quest of Chapter 2: Act 1, the Ritou Escape Plan and the sub-quest of Sacred Sakura Cleansing Ritual, called Tanuki-Bayashi in the Forest.
By Ioroi’s request, the Traveler will take the Bake Danuki, Kichiboushi out of the Forest and Travelers will tag along, making sure to preserve the experience with memorable pictures. This bound to be a fun event with an abundance of rewards like Primogems, Ascension materials, Mora, Character XP and Weapon materials.
The goal of the event is to fulfill Kichiboushi’s requests while you travel. Since Kichiboushi is a Bake-Danuki, they like to play with Travelers by coaxing them through their music and transforming into an object when anyone comes near.
Interacting with the object will make you win! It seems we’ll be able to play with Kichiboushi in such a way in various locations in Teyvat and take pictures of their antics for Ioroi, based on the teaser.
May Fortune Find You continues
Players were stoked when Mihoyo gave them Intertwined Fates as login rewards and these are not the only login rewards players will see. The event, called Flowing Lights and Colors Lantern Rite Gifts, shall be giving more Intertwined Fates and other rewards from 9th February onwards, as login mail rewards. This event will last for a week, till the launch of version 2.5 on 16th February.
Make sure to participate and get those Primogems if you’re looking to save up for upcoming characters like Yae Miko, Kamisato Ayato or future re-runs of 5* characters and weapons.
