Good Morning Britain’s meteorologist Laura Tobin, 41, recently took to Instagram to share the shock results after undergoing microneedling. The procedure, which has grown in popularity in recent years, involves piercing the skin with tiny sterilised needles.

The small wounds stimulate collagen and elastin production, according to WebMD.

The procedure is thought to help with issues like acne, pigmentation and helping you look younger.

Following her treatment earlier this month, Laura shared a snap of herself with a very red face.

The weather presenter added in the comments: “One of my other new year’s resolutions is to take better care of my skin, which isn’t great with the early starts, lack of sleep and being out in all weather.

“The lovely @sadaf_jaffari has been helping me with microneedling.

“She also said there is only so much she can do if you don’t get enough sleep and drink enough water.”

And her work is clearly paying off as many fans were left in disbelief over her age as she celebrated her birthday in October.

On GMB at the time, hosts Susanna Reid and Martin Lewis presented Laura with a forest-themed birthday cake while they sang to her.
