Google Announces a List of Android Wear Watches Being Updated to 8.0 Oreo

After a brief beta program, last week Google has released the Android Oreo for Android Wear for the wearable platform, now Google has announced a list of Android Wear devices that will receive Oreo updates in the near future.

The Oreo update for smartwatches doesn’t bring a huge list of new features: you get improved battery life, customization options for the vibration function, and support for a few extra languages, for instance. Basically, your smartwatch is just going to run a little more smoothly and perhaps need recharging a little less often.

Users can now also control the vibration stretch of notifications, as well as disable tap-to-wake with “Touch lock.” Android Wear is also rolling out to seven new countries/languages with this release.
