google: Google updates Tasks with an important new feature

Google Tasks is a useful tool that helps users create reminders and to-do lists, The tech giant has updated its Tasks service with a new feature that can be very important for its users. This new feature added in the latest update will allow users to highlight the importance of a particular task by adding a star to it. Users can “star” the tasks that they consider to be of higher priority, just like Gmail users can star the important emails.
While announcing the new feature, Google said that the new update is expected to make it easier for users to prioritise their tasks and quickly navigate to important tasks across their projects. The company has also mentioned that the new feature will be available to Google Tasks users on both desktop and mobile platforms. Moreover, Google has also updated its Workspace blog to announce the new feature and has mentioned that a similar functionality already exists in Drive.
Google Tasks’ new feature availability
Google has already started rolling out the new feature, however, it may take 15 days or more to arrive for everyone. Users who are unable to see this feature now will find it by the end of this month.

Microsoft To-Do is one such similar app that allows users to put a star next to a particularly important task. This feature helps users quickly find the tasks that are more important than others.
