Google unveiled the flagship Pixel 7 series at its ‘Made by Google’ event in October. The company also launched its first Pixel smartwatch alongside the Pixel 7 series.
The company has now started rolling out the November 2022 update for the Pixel smartphones running Android 13. The update also includes the security patch scheduled for November 2022.
According to a report by 9To5Google, there are 19 security issues which are resolved in the November 2022 patch dated 2022-11-01 and 26 for 2022-11-05. Vulnerabilities vary from moderate to critical.
The update also comes with a fix for the excessive power consumption of certain apps with certain apps running on the Pixel 6 series.

Google has said that Pixel users will receive a notification once the OTA update is available for their phone.
“No critical security vulnerabilities affecting the Android platform were publicly disclosed without a security update or mitigation available for Android devices,” Google said in its recent Android Security and Privacy Year in Review.
The update will roll out globally in phases over the next few weeks for Pixel smartphones running Android 13. Users will get a notification when the update comes for their smartphones. The update can also be manually downloaded via– Settings > System > System update to update their device.
The company has also announced that the update will fix the issue which caused the green flicker display on the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro devices.
The update improves the thermal performance of the Google Pixel smartphones by optimising display power consumption.
The update also fixes the uncertain crashing of the Photos app while using certain editing features.
