Microsoft has confirmed that they are investigating Halo Infinite server issues tonight, keeping players from jumping into live matches.

It’s unclear what has caused the problem or why gamers are receiving errors highlighting dedicated server errors.

The good news is that engineers are on the case and are looking to bring matchmaking back online for everybody as soon as possible.

However, there is currently no ETA on how long Halo fans will have to wait until they can re-enter live matches on Xbox One, Xbox Series X and PC.

The latest message from the Halo Infinite support team reads: “We are currently investigating reports of matchmaking errors in #HaloInfinite. When we have an update, we will share it here.”

Thousands of reports have been shared online regarding today’s outage, although the number remains relatively low for a multiplayer game.

This means that things could return to normal across all platforms relatively quickly.
