According to a recent report from Windows Central, a secondary studio is working on a new game mode for Halo Infinite, which is more than likely a Battle Royale or something similar.

Certain Affinity is a game development studio that is mostly known for aiding other big studios with their projects. The team has already helped the development teams behind the Halo and Call of Duty series multiple times.

Halo Infinite Will Reportedly Get a New Game Mode from Certain Affinity

According to the recent report from Windows Central, Certain Affinity is working on a new game mode for Halo Infinite, which might be the long-rumored Battle Royale mode that some data miners managed to find out about it before the game’s launch.

Regarding the fact that 343 Industries is currently busy working on the Halo Infinite upcoming content as well as the promised features such as co-op and Forge modes, it is reasonable to outsource a big addition to the game such as a Battle Royale mode.

The report also claims that Certain Affinity is working on a brand new game for Microsoft with a setting similar to Capcom’s Monster Hunter series.

Now, all the information above should be taken with a grain of salt as there is nothing official about either of the aforementioned projects so far.

Halo Infinite Multiplayer is now available for free on Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PC.
