Apple has always been big on education. In the last few years, a lot of initiatives Launched in India in September 2019, Apple Teacher is a free professional learning programme for schools and districts to offer free professional learning that their staff can work through together. As per Apple, the programme has the tools for educators to connect with all learners using iPad and Mac.
The Apple Teacher journey starts in The Learning Center — that educators can access from any device, anytime, anywhere. The Apple Teacher Learning Center is updated regularly with skill-building tutorials, downloadable templates, and lesson ideas. Sana Noor, Apple Teacher, Primary ICT Coordinator, Pathways School Noida, says that Apple has played an integral role for her as a technology integration specialist. “When I first started using iPads in the classroom eleven years ago, it turned out to be a breakthrough in portable and user-friendly technology which opened multiple learning avenues for every kind of learner,” says Noor.
