Not his cup of tea
Ankit Gupta, who was recently booted out of the ongoing season of Bigg Boss, was prodded about his opinion on the institution of marriage. “I don’t believe in the concept of marriage. I feel, marriages don’t function. Marriage is a social institution that was developed by humans,” he said, addressing the reason behind his decision to not commit to Priyanka Cheher, with whom he was linked on the show.

TV actor Erica Fernandes will join hands with her Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi co-star Shaheer Sheikh for the music video, Woh kashish, which will be directed by Akshay K Agarwal. The duo’s chemistry in the show, which also featured Supriya Pathak was celebrated. However, the show had to be pulled down, reportedly due to poor TRPs. Fans of the two have flooded social media channels with requests for another collaboration.

Rohit Shetty’s Ranveer Singh-starrer Cirkus has turned out to be a damp squib at the box office. While it was expected to end the year on a high note, reviews unanimously have been poor. While Shetty’s films are the kinds that easily cross Rs 100 crores, opening collections for this film have been disappointing. Over three days since it was released, it earned Rs 20.85 crores, despite releasing on the holiday weekend.
Santa’s gift gets bigger
Come Christmas, Vijay Deverakonda literally becomes Santa Claus for his fans. Since he established the Devarasanta tradition a few years ago, the actor has been giving his fans gifts every Christmas. This year, he planned to arrange all-expenses-paid trips for 100 fans. His fans helped him pick the destination via an online poll. He shared the announcement on his social media page.
