Helen Flanagan, 32, was seen wearing her engagement ring on holiday in Dubai last week prompting rumours she had reconciled with ex-fiancé Scott Sinclair.

The Coronation Street star put the bling on show as she posed for a photo in the sunny location last week.

The actress, who is best known for her role as Rosie Webster in the ITV soap, is currently away with her children, Charlie, 2, Matilda, 7, and Delilah, 4 and her close friend.

Yet it has been reported Helen is also spending some time with her ex whilst on the holiday.

The Blackburn Rovers footballer is said to have flown off with Helen and the kids after holidaymakers spotted the pair together.

However, following the speculation, Helen has put to bed rumours that she and her ex-fiancé are back together.

During her flight to Tenerife, Helen posted a photo on her Instagram Stories of her holding up a copy of Carol Vorderman’s Sudoku book.

Alongside the snap, Helen captioned the post: “Love you @carolvorders”, before explaining why she still wears a ring on her wedding finger.

“I always wear it as I find it a comfort as I’m used to having a rock on my finger,” Helen explained.

Footballer Scott and Helen reportedly split after the mum-of-three finished filming ITV’s I’m A Celebrity All Stars in South Africa, with Helen pictured without her engagement ring as she walked the red carpet at the Pride of Britain Awards in October.

The pair first started dating in 2009 before getting engaged in 2018 and had been due to marry next year before calling time on their romance.

Despite this, the actress and her footballer ex-fiancé were spotted last week by fellow holidaymakers in Dubai.

Onlookers said that the pair “seem to be close still” and look like “a really happy family unit”.

Speaking to The Sun, a source said: “A lot of people around the hotel recognise them and think there could be a reconciliation between them but obviously they could also just be there for their children.

“Scott has been spending quality time with their two daughters and it has clearly been really special for them to have that time as a family – especially as they no longer live under the same roof.

“Helen seems totally relaxed and at ease.”
