As per the rumours, Honor will debut the new flagship series with three models again, with a focus on photography, which is hinted at in the announcement too. Additionally, since the brand has equipped its flagship series with a high-end Snapdragon chipset, the Magic4 series models are also expected to come with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. The company is also planning to give “more surprises” apart from the Magic4 series, which could mean some other device like a wearable or some other feature apart from the camera which the company wishes to highlight.
The latest phone which the company launched was the Magic V, its first-ever foldable phone.
The Honor Magic V’s internal display measures 7.9 inches and has a resolution of 2272 x 1984 pixels. It has a 90 Hz refresh rate and an aspect ratio of 10:9. The external OLED display of the phone measures 6.45 inches and has a resolution of 2560 x 1080 pixels with a higher refresh rate of 120Hz and an aspect ratio of 21:9.
The Magic V runs Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and comes with 12GB RAM. There are two storage options: 256GB and 512GB. The 5G device runs Honor’s Magic UI 6.0 on top of Android 12. The foldable phone comes with a 50MP triple rear camera setup with a 50MP f/1.9 primary sensor, a 50MP f/2.2 ultrawide lens and a 50MP “spectrum enhanced” sensor and two 42MP camera sensors. It is backed by a 4750mAh battery with 66W fast-charging support. It has not yet been confirmed if the company plans to bring the phone to the Indian market.
