A FIFA 22 Ultimate Team player couldn’t believe their rotten luck when they accidentally spent a lot of their coins they had saved up on stadium upgrade items from the market.
The player shared this horrible situation with others in the community through the FIFA Reddit page, and they couldn’t help but take the mickey off the poor fan’s dire mistake caused by their leg and phone.
FIFA 22 player loses 100,000 FIFA coins, thanks to their leg and mobile phone
In a recent Reddit post on r/FIFA, user shoeflyshoe posted the atrocious mistake the player had given birth to with the help of their leg and the FIFA 22 Mobile Companion App. From the screenshot and the title of the post, shoeflyshoe explained that after forgetting to lock the phone, their leg caused horrendous mis-clicks that lead to them spending over 100,000 FIFA Coins on just stadium upgrade items.
In the screenshot the player had posted, fans can visibly see the three Kool as Ice items shoeflyshoe had purchased, and to make matters worse, the fan knew they had messed up pretty badly as they can’t even quick sell these upgrades for a single penny. Additionally, the player also revealed that they had been saving these coins for a vital player that could have improved their squad dramatically.
Fans mock the player’s horrendous mistake
In the comments of the Reddit post, many members of the community couldn’t resist from mocking the FIFA 22 player’s mistake. Many joked about shoeflyshoe having the best-looking stadium in the game, while others sympathised with them.
Shoeflyshoe even explained why losing 100,000 FIFA coins hurt a lot, as they revealed that they had been saving them to buy the 90 rated Winter Wildcard Paul Pogba. At the time of writing, this amazing card was selling around a million FIFA coins on all platforms, and with the screenshot shoeflyshoe had posted, it seems like they have the money to spend on the card. However, they won’t have much left after splurging on the star Manchester United midfielder.
In the end, this post should serve as a lesson for FIFA 22 players who do a bulk of their Ultimate Team business through the companion app, and after hearing about this, they surely won’t keep their leg near their unlocked phone.
