How to look younger: 60-year-old transforms jowls with filler

Patt, who turns 60 in November, decided to go for some filler in the lower half of her face. She told Express.co.uk what impact this had on her life but gave a warning for those looking to do the same.

It was several years ago that Patt started to notice she had jowls.

She spotted that the lower part of her face had began to “drag” and she wanted to give it a “little lift”.

In particular she noticed sagging, as well as lines between the nose and the sides of her mouth.

While it didn’t cause her too much stress, Patt admitted that if there was one aspect of herself she was self-conscious of, it was this.

For a long time, however, she was reluctant to do anything about this insecurity, until she spoke to a few people who had undergone similar procedures reaping fabulous results.

Patt “took the plunge” and headed to Regents Park Aesthetics for her ‘tweakment’ in February.

Since then she has visited Regents Park Aesthetics once more for a top up, and is super happy with her results.

Pat sees herself returning once every six months, and each session costs £300.

DON’T MISS…

As for the qualities a practitioner must have, Patt stressed the importance of going to someone who puts you at ease.

It is also key to go to someone who “doesn’t pressurise you into anything” you don’t feel comfortable doing.

Patt explained that is she is totally all for women having ‘tweakments’ or cosmetic surgery if it will have a big impact on their life.

“If it’s something that really affects their mental health and they feel like they should get it done, who are we to say that they shouldn’t?”
