During the cringeworthy interview at the Oscars on Sunday, Hugh kept his answers incredibly curt, declaring that he wasn’t rooting for anyone in particular, bluntly revealed he was wearing “my suit” and “almost” had fun filming Knives Out: Glass Onion.
The final straw for fans came as the actor walked away after the interview and seemingly rolled his eyes at Ashley, with broadcaster Piers Morgan branding him “a d**k” for his behaviour.
Speaking on his talk show, the broadcaster shared: “To me, he behaved like a d**k. He just treated Ashley Graham, I felt, with total disrespect and he pretended like the job of somebody on a red carpet, an actor at the Oscars, is not to talk to the media.”
On Monday, the model herself reacted to the awkward exchange, telling TMZ: “You know what, my mama told me to kill people with kindness, so there you go.”
