‘iPhone 14 Pro’ name surfaces on alleged packaging stickers

Tipster ShrimpApplePro, in one of his tweets, has posted a photo which is allegedly being referred to as belonging to an actual iPhone 14 product box. The photo first appeared on Chinese social media site Weibo (as reported by Macrumours) and shows the name “iPhone 14 Pro ” on the sticker tab used for sealing a product box.
While the veracity of the image is still in question, the name “iPhone 14” is not something that’s not expected by people. It is most likely that Apple will continue with the same naming convention for its upcoming iPhones for this year. Also, this is not the first time the image of an iPhone packaging has surfaced online so close to an Apple event. There have been similar instances of alleged product packaging appearing online before the launch of the iPhone 13 and iPhone 12 both.

The social media post on Weibo also reportedly claims that all the iPhone 14 series models will come with 6GB RAM, something which has earlier been claimed by noted Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo and others. The Weibo post also claimed that the iPhone 14 Pro will come packaged in white box.
In his latest Geared Up podcast, Jon Prosser along with Andru Edwards and Jon Rettinger highlighted some key details about the upcoming iPhone SE. Prosser claimed that the iPhone SE 4th-generation will be based on iPhone XR similar to the iPhone SE 2nd-generation and iPhone SE 3rd-generation being based on iPhone 8 form factor, as per a report by AppleTrackr. He clearly referred to the iPhone SE 4 as “just an iPhone XR”.
